How to get here

By car (coming from Stuttgart):

  • Drive on B27 direction Tübingen from Stuttgart.
  • Take exit Tübingen, Nordstadt, Kliniken.
  • Turn left into "Wilhelmstraße" at the 3rd traffic light (there's a "HendlHouse" restaurant at the crossroad).
  • Turn right after the JET gas station (going uphill, street is named Nordring).
  • Turn right at the 2nd traffic light (following the sign reading "Sand").
  • Turn left into Drosselweg.
  • Enter through the gate of the large orange building. There is a parking lot behind the building.
  • The Applied Bioinformatics Group is situated on the 2nd floor (third for you Americans) of building "Sand 14".

By train:

  • Arrive at Tübingen train station (usually coming from Stuttgart).
  • The main bus station is directly opposite the exit of the train station.
  • Take the bus (see "By bus")

By airplane:

  • Arrive at Stuttgart airport.
  • Take bus line 826 or 828 commonly called 'airport-sprinter'. (They depart from infront of the arrivals-building exit  - nearly in half hour cycle at .19 and .49, but this may change).
  • Arrive at Tübingen main bus station (directly opposite the exit of the train station).
  • Take the bus (see "By bus")

By bus:

  • Take bus line 2 direction "Sand". (Departs from bus main station here - you will have to pay in coins, currently 2.00 €, but this may change).
  • Get off the bus at the stop Sand Drosselweg.
  • Walk up to where the bus turned around, about 200m.
  • Enter through the main gate of the large orange building.
  • Walk across the court towards the main entrance.
  • The Applied Bioinformatics Group is situated on the 2nd floor (third for you Americans) of building "Sand 14".
